The Japanese art of flower arranging: staying with the flowers in front of you, one stem at a time, then taking your work home.

A journey back to nature

Why flower arranging?

A return to stillness through the Japanese art of flower arranging, alongside the soft tones of crystal bowls. As a busy mind grows quiet, you'll arrange one piece to take home with you.

Ikebana isn't about filling a vase. It's about the empty space, the direction of a branch, and choosing what to leave out.

As you cut stems and place flowers, your hands slow down on their own, and your thoughts follow.

A few stems and two hours. Enough to hear your own thoughts grow quieter.

No experience needed

  • You don't need to have arranged flowers before, or to think of yourself as artistic.
  • There's no beautiful or not beautiful, only a piece that's yours.
  • Flowers, scissors and everything else are provided. Just come as you are.

I got so into arranging that I forgot to look at the clock. The flowers at home still remind me to slow down every morning.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

I'm not artistic at all. Can I still do it?

Yes. We don't judge whether it's beautiful or not. We just invite you to stay with the flowers in front of you. Every piece turns out different, and that's the best part.

What flowers do you use?

Flowers and branches in season, so no two sessions are the same.

How do I get my arrangement home? Do I need to bring a vase?

No need to bring anything. We'll wrap it for you to take home, and tell you how to make it last.

I've never done this before. Can I join?

Yes. Every program is made so first-timers can join right away. There's no pose to get right and nothing to memorize. Our team walks you through it step by step the whole way.

Can I come on my own?

Of course. Coming alone is completely normal here, and there's never a moment where you're asked to speak or share before you're ready.
